Sheila Murray, owner and founder of Take a Paws Pet Sitting, discovered her love of dogs 10 years ago when her first dog, Jake, a Black Lab mix came into her life and stole her heart.  Zeke, a Siberian Husky, came along 2 years after Jake.  Zeke is "the Husky that thinks he's a Lab!"  Millie girl is a rescue, and came to live with Jake and Zeke 2 years ago.   The dogs have a feathered friend, a cockateil named Pretty Bird.  Take a Paws Pet Sitting was born out of Sheila's need to find quality in-home pet sitting services for her own pets. 

Sheila spent 21 years working as a Human Resources Manager for various corporations.  She has a BS in Business Management and Economics with a Human Resources concentration from Empire State College.  Sheila left the corporate world to start Take a Paws.  Animals are her passion.  Sheila understands that pets are a very important part of the family.  She knows that hiring an experienced pet sitter provides peace of mind for the pet owner.  You can be assured that by using the services of Take a Paws your pet is being cared for by an expert, someone who is qualified and trained to properly care for your pet.  

Sheila is certified by the American Red Cross in Dog First Aid and CPR.  She is a member of NAPPS, The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters http://www.petsitters.org/, and Pet Sitters International http://www.petsit.com/.
